As a consignor to the Consignment Sale, I agree to the following:
By default, prices on unsold items will be reduced by 20% on Sunday. This can be changed when entering items or any time prior to item check-in. All items are in good condition, free of rips, stains, and tears and are ready for resale. Used ski equipment MUST meet industry standards. NO “straight skis” accepted. SKI BINDING CHECK: All ski bindings will be checked against the ski industry’s list of supported ski bindings when checked into the sale. Ski manufacturers stop supporting some bindings after a few years because they can start to fail and jeopardize skier safety. Therefore, ski shop technicians are not permitted to adjust these bindings because they don’t want to jeopardize skier safety either. The Ski Patrol seeks to support skier safety by preventing the sale of unsupported bindings at the swap that customers will not be able to have adjusted or used safely.
Consignor will receive 81% of the proceeds from the sale of each item sold. Consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of the fee. Your check can be picked up at Alpine Valley Sunday evening between 4 PM and 7 PM. Otherwise, it will be mailed approximately one week after the sale.
Proprietors of the sale or the location will not be held liable for any loss or damage to the items from any cause whatsoever, including, but not limited to flood, fire, or theft.
Consignor will make arrangements to pick up any unsold items at the designated time/date after the sale. Any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.
